John Sevier Middle School Welcomes New Principal Cookie Greer  

Cookie Greer has been named principal of John Sevier Middle School. Ms. Greer has served as the principal of Washington Elementary School for the last 11 years. She has 20 plus years of experience in education, including her service as a director/owner of a private school in Texas for 11 years and four years as a teacher at Sevier Middle School. Ms. Greer has a Bachelor's degree from Louisiana Tech and a Master's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in Texas. She holds endorsements in elementary education, special education and administration.

The mission of John Sevier Middle School is to enable our students to become informed, responsible, academically proficient, and respectful life-long learners. 

John Sevier Middle School serves students in grades 6-8 from Roosevelt, Jackson, Lincoln and Washington Elementary Schools.
