March 13 BOE meeting review

 

Science Textbook Approval

The Kingsport Board of Education approved on first reading a list of science textbooks that are considered for adoption. The second reading and final adoption will be held during the Board's April 2 meeting. The textbooks are available for public view at the Kingsport Public Library. Those who would like to submit comments on the textbook selection may email them to Ed Abbott at eabbott@k12k.com. To view the list of science textbooks approved on first reading, click here.

 

 

D-B Parking Lot Approval

The Board of Education approved plans for the redesign and renovation of the D-B parking lot, to take place this summer. The plans were adopted with strict instructions to begin the project immediately after graduation and finish as quickly as possible - hopefully before Fun Fest activities begin.
