The Kingsport Board of Education meets on the first and third Thursdays each month. The Board holds its regular monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month. The meeting includes a public comment period on agenda items. To address the board concerning an issue not included in the board's regular agenda, you must submit a written request to the Director of Schools at least five business days prior to the scheduled board meeting. At the discretion of the Director of Schools and the Board of Education President, your concern will be placed on the agenda or addressed privately at an appointed time.
